I thought that someone would mention that :-))
market is driven by perception and quick response is positive while waiting is negative. Either there is a bug or not AMD can turn the rumor into something positive like creating an image of a company that addresses concerns of its clients.

Albert,

You must have misread my post. I don't much care about market perception but I was trying to find out if the problem was real or not.

As for image, I don't think that is the problem with the stock lately, nor do I think it has to do with Sanders and his need to go peepee on the CC floor. And I know you know this but there is a concern that competition and a recession will hurt AMD's business...ALTR is the lastest chip stock to warn of slowing sales. The macro questions have be dealt with....will the economy crash or experience a soft landing; will the P4 cause AMD to lose marketshare to Intel....the usual vagaries of business.

We can rail about these circumstances all we want but the situation, to me at least, is pretty clear.....we, the shareholders, have a choice: wait out the macro uncertainities, or sell the stock. JMHO.

EDIT. or b*tch and moan while holding the stock. <g>
