It's kind of similar to what happened when VIA had the Apollo pro 133 Mhz chipset for P3 and all Intel had was a 100 Mhz bus chipset plus the i820. Only this time, VIA may get Intels blessing...
The only thing I down know is whether VIA is further along with a P4 DDR chipset that Intel or if Intel has to wait a while longer.
