"PS
I do my own DD as relying on others for investment advice risky."

Cheeky, that is a very bitter and insulting remark delivered to someone who did not even post to you. If I did not know better, I would think that you have lost a large sum of money gambling on HAND.

I expressed my thanks to certain people here because they are very capable, dedicated people who assist small-timers like me with no renumeration whatsoever, except for an occasional expression of gratitude (which, for some reason, you find objectionable).

With respect to "DD" (an expression used by pikers, people like me who get PAID to do Due Diligence, and would be sued for large sums of money if we failed in that task, do not throw the term about so lightly), I do exhaustive research into any position I take, long or short.

Your real complaint is that Truthseeker, Anthony, and others have been proven RIGHT. You, on the other hand, took NO position, so now you can claim not to have been WRONG.

Here is a suggestion that I think will be of real value to you as you mature into an adult: Do a Yahoo search on "Rudyard Kipling" and look up his poem "If".

I think that reading it will do you some good.

"More money on the long side."

Yes, all you have to do is to buy at the bottom and sell at the top. Gosh, you'd think everyone would do that. Heck, why not buy CSCO in 1990 or XLA (SCF) in late 1998 and make some real money?

Of course if you had put $10000 into MPPP long, lost 90%, then took the $1000 remaining and put it into HAND, and been smart enough to sell the top (remember, we're talking about someone dumb enough to go long MPPP so not bloody likely), that would return only $3500, a loss only of 65%.

Regards,

Barb
