Pravin:

"Unit volume cross-over of P4 over PIII is slated for Q1, 2001, will an internal goal to accelerate it. This will be done mostly with 0.18u and a little 0.13u."

Comment: With the entry bar raised to 1 gig by Q1, not much point producing PWEiii's...Sounds like crisis management to me!!!

Imposible. Not enough Rambus. Not enough Fabs for the 217 die size.

Maybe it's Q1 2002?

Must be 2002, not 2001. They won't have .13u in Q1 2001.

and that's another confirmation of only "a little" 0.13u worth of P4s by Q1 2002.

Pravin,

Unit volume cross-over of P4 over PIII is slated for Q1, 2001????

You did mean Q1, 2002, didn't you? Else that is one accelerated ramp!
