can you imagine the mfg process efficiencies when more automation is introduced, when more delicate placements are performed entirely by machines, when new developments are introduced, when little niche companies are brought in for their particular mfg process expertise ???

profit margins are not as large as they will be
despite the inevitable price drops

for a nice primmer, consider Applied Materials and their decade of mfg process development in semiconductor arena
