Hmaly,

<Could you please provide a link where I said I expect godlike perfection out of anybody.>

hehe, you trip me out. That's about the bazillionth time that you have asked for a link tonight and it reminds me of a kid sticking his fingers in his ears and humming so he can't hear the person that he is intending to ignore. :) I wasn't trying to portray that as a quote so I can't link to where you said it. It is my interpretation of what you said (with a little hyperbole mixed in) which I think is shown by my use of the word seems (as in "seems to me").

<I said if you are uncomfortable with management or the products of any company, you shouldn't be investing in said company.>

The fact is that most of us here are dealing with a very limited set of information relative to the whole story and are all trying to come to reasonable conclusions. I think that your assertion that anyone who has serious qualms about managements integrity should sell immediately is overly simplistic and does not do justice to the complicated decision that any buy or sell move entails. There are many considerations such as past entry point, amount that the stock has already fallen, tax consequences, etc. ... and in this case the fact that Jerry won't be around forever.

I know that you don't think AMD is perfect but you seem to have a very high threshold for viewing anything they do with any criticality and you seem to be very defensive when negative opinions are expressed. I am much like you in that I am very interested in AMD's success but I think negative opinions are healthy and I like to hear them. Doug is not some rabid stock basher that needs to be run off he has thought through his opinions and was expressing them in earnest. I don't see the problem with that even if he didn't provide a link. Do you?
