You could be right. Seriously, I'm a bit liberal myself, but find Gore a tad more liberal than I'd like. All the talk about tax cuts for the middle class bothers me -- not quite enough to change my vote, but enough to not join the campaign, put a sign in my yard, buy buttons and do the sort of things I usually do. Too bad he didn't stay more middle of the road like Clinton did, and then leverage his real strength on the liberal side -- the environment.

I'm sorry, I disagree... I converted so that I could vote For Gore, I'll never be a Bush woman in this lifetime. <g> Besides, he needs to learn to speak common English. No offense to you, but I think that a Gore presidency will do much more for the market than a Bush (root in the dark til I get it right) presidency will do. What happens when he stutters the wrong words...and people believe exactly what he actually does say? I'm not a contrarian, I've just made up my mind! :0)

EDIT:Perhaps I need to read all of the posts leading up to this? Blanket disclaimer of course :0)

I know I'm one so...

Was talking about it with a friend today. Okay we're NYers and we're smart and we probably tend to vote democratic (tho I sometimes swing republican depending on the person). And we both admire the hell out of Clinton. We think Gore made a huge tactical error distancing himself from Clinton instead of using Clinton's charisma and political power to usher him into office. My friend even thinks that Arafat took that marginalizing of Clinton in the campaign as a cue and was less malleable.

As my friend said, Gore forgot that all the people who were upset with Clinton about Lewinsky were ALREADY republicans!
Sheesh.

The question is, do I vote at all? I just can't stand Gore, the only moment I really liked him was when he chose Lieberman. But I'm afraid Bush is a doofus and a bit of a loafer.

Mayb eClinton can run again in 2004?

So you're meeting Andy in Santa Fe????? Can I host you both? LOL.
