Limtex, you sound like a man who sold today, and would like back in at a lower cost basis before Friday morning...

jmac - Are talking about qcom? If you are, I think you are way off base.

Well I certainly hope so but there just isn't anything I can think of that can make the qtrs revenues or earnings sparkle. Indeed IMHO it will be a miracle if Q makes the earnings number and as far as the revenues go with the Korea, PCS etc I just can't see the revenue number getting there.

Thats why I think we are in for a bit of a ride after the bell and tomorrow and with Qs high profile it could outdo NT.

What we do have is future. The importance of 1X in Korea is just staggering. Have you seen all the articles on the problems that the Euro carriers are now starting to have about 3G some of these were posted today. It seems to me that it is now within the realms of possiblity that these carriers just got caught up in the euphoria of the early part of the year and have massively overpaid for the 3G licenses. Some of the articles suggest that there is not business plan that credibly shows real profit for these carriers resulting from the m-commerce that is forecastable for these systems.

More importantly they seem to be waking up to what IJ has been saying for some time in that they can't get anywhere near the speeds they thought they would get.

Maybe we will as some of our really knowledgeable posters have predicted see the Europeans finally coming around to cdma-2000.

Anyway the way I see it is we have the only the future to protect the price today and tomorrow. That should be very strong but will it be enough to satisfy the market? Seems to me that going on other companies anouncements this qtr the odds aren't good.

But maybe IJ can inspire. Many of us are here because it is sort of like being part of the new age being on the QCOM bus. We know things becuase of our interest that others are simply amazed at when we talk of these new wonders in our every day lives. I find that people I talk to seem to think I have amazing knowledge simply becuase I talk of some of the basics of what the Q is about. Many people have absolutely no idea of what is coming or how it will change their lives. Maybe IJ can inspire the worries away later this afternoon.

Meatime the NAZ futures are now up thank goodness.

Best regards,

L
