Especially since you guys dont have a news blackout across time zones until the polling stations close at local time like we do up here.. if Nader supporters see that the race is neck and neck.. and it goes down to the last 2-3 states.. I get the feeling they may waver and head back to Gore.

Who said we don't have a black out 'cause I think we do?

Nader has refused to throw his support behind Gore. If there is any topic that make Northwesterners fringe zealots is environmental issues. I don't know how many will vote for Gore when they get into the ballot box. You should ask PT what he plans to do.

I like a number of Nader's positions beyond the environment but I won't risk giving a vote to Bush. The more I see of Bush and study his record in TX, the more I fear his presidency.

Scott,

Especially since you guys dont have a news blackout across time zones until the polling stations close at local time like we do up here.. if Nader supporters see that the race is neck and neck.. and it goes down to the last 2-3 states.

Just from doing the math, if Bush wins Florida and Pennsylvania, it's over for Gore very quickly, 8PM or 9 PM Eastern time. If Gore wins both, it may get to the west coast states to decide the winner.
