Dan this is BS. You lack understanding of law in this matter. How about starting with collusion with the intent of harming a third party such as RAMBUS. If this was possible, don't you think the brilliant legal minds of the companies involved would have taken this approach already? Or were they just waiting for Dan3 to come up with the idea?

How do they spin off and make something without Rambus IP.

That is what you keep avoiding. Eventually someone has to make something.

Whoever is making has to pay Rambus what they are asking or they do not sell it.

It really is that simple. A 1-4% rate is more than reasonable. QCOM gets mre than that on average.
