<Ebay is a fad>

eBay has been around for over 5 years with growth STILL at a breakneck pace...that alone speaks for itself.

If it were *really* a fad...it would have hardly lasted this long nor would they be able to aggressively expand into international markets.

Enough with the fad argument, clearly, it has proven itself by now through its 5 year existence. I recall several people banking on the short-side of this stock with the "Ebay is a fad and will dissapear" argument back in 95-96...dont they look foolish now?

- on the question of my 5 1/4" drive, aren't auctions time limited?

- All I care about is the price; & whether or not it's mine

- w/ an auction, I have to wait for it to end; then worry about being the right bidder

- instead, why not just go to the classifieds and avoid all the hassle?
