Sanders also blasted the "jerks" and "idiots" who he says have confused slowing growth rates with the peaking of revenues.

I suspect that they are going to look even more like "idiots" going forward. I also suspect that since Reg FD is being adopted, this was the analyst's last bite at the apple in this group. The world just changed, and they wanted to make the most of the old order before it was gone for good. JMHO
