You are "sure W has lied too". Ok. He said the 3 men who murdered Mr. Byrd were being put to death. Only 2 are. He says everyone who pays taxes will get tax relief. Not people who only pay payroll tax and not the upper tax brackets which will be subject to the AMT under Bush's tax plan. He did a couple of things that really helped - put military spending pressure on the Russians and lead a rhetorical assault on the reality of the communist regimes. I totally agree. Look, I'm not trying to pick a fight. I'm saying that not all Republican are good and not all Democrats are bad. I'm voting for W because I don't like Gore all that much (you probably didn't expect to hear that). Let me ask you this. Do you believe in universal, tax payer funded elementary and secondary education? If so, why is universal healthcare demonized so much? You don't need to answer. Just think about it. Aren't education and healthcare two fundamental things gov't should provide at least at a minimal level to it citizens just to promote the welfare of the country? Again, these are just rhetorical questions. Ali
