Forget about CA. Pipe dream that its going Bush. If Gore wins PA,FL,Mich, does he win??? Anyone?

That would force Bush to take WA, OR, MN, MO, IA, and TN to win.

If he lose one of those he would have to pick up the difference with a combination of ME, AR, or NM.

It could still go either way but Bush has a few more options open to him to reach the 270 than Gore.

If Bush takes PA and FL early in the evening CA could fall to Bush because of lower voter turn out on the West Coast and deserters to Nader since it won't make much difference at that point. I think this is why Bush is predicting to take CA. If it is a close race, CA is going Gore.
