I figure that Delay, Armey et al. will find it easier to work with Bush because he won't lie to them and hang them out to dry a la Bubba. It remains to be seen whether the Dem. leadership have any statesman like skills which would underpin your theory that Bush will find it easier to work with Dem partisans.

You got it wrong. A one seat advantage in the senate and house for Republicans with Bush as Prez, gets everything he wants passed. The demolib filibusters in the senate will eventually come to an end, or the public will see who is holding the legislation up.knc
