Wow- I need to write down some of that stuff. Love the Nietsche.
I saw Nader, but since I heard he is in favor of taxing at a 100% any earned income over 10times minimum wage (which is what- anything over about 65000?) and for universal health care, and a work week of about 40 hours, I haven't taken him seriously. That doesn't seem to jibe with self-reliance to me.

Dan and I were talking- and he said if that were the tax burden, he would quit what he's doing, which is high responsibility, high stress, and very tough hours, and go teach.
Well, huh., Maybe that's a good thing- think of all the people who would start doing things they wanted to do instead of what they think they have to do.
But then who will do the shit jobs? And management IS a shit job whatever the unions want you to think. Who would take on the 60-80 hour week necessary to run a company if there were no financial compensation? Who will support the market? NO one will have any money to invest.
I thought Nader begged that question last night when someone asked what would happen to the market and he went off on how corruption would be ended or something.
