rocklob; ie: the market not being tradeable...

Rocklob; that's not quite what I said.

I said it was "tradeable" - but "not" from a very good risk vs. reward basis - ie: 500 up, but then 700 down and especially given the still irrational volatility of even "name" companies. It is possible, but not very probable to continually profitably trade long a 2000 point decline over 7-8 mos ?

Again; sometimes it makes sense to be completely out , or mostly out for weeks & even months at a time.

I think very few traders have the discipline to just sit on the sidelines either substantially in cash, or totally out of the market for any period of time.

They just gotta have that "juice"... gotta play, deal me in, spin the wheel, roll the dice - the casino's open 5 days a week and they can't stay away, let alone walk away ~

The bottom won't be in untill many of them say - they'll never be back & join gamblers - anon (VBG).
