lawdog, you haven't been showing the maturity and judgement that one would expect from an officer of the court.

When you publish something recklessly with knowledge of its falsity as has been done, that's libel of a public figure. As an alleged attorney, you ought to know that.

lawdog, jla & Frank, I too am a trial attorney. I remember too well the Reagan Administration removing severely disabled persons from the Social Security disability rolls. They were removing people who were dying. Eventually, the public uproar stopped that practice. I fear that the Bush appointees will raise havoc with the rules governing entitlement to Social Security disability. I also fear the enforcement policies of the EPA under a Bush administration.
The EPA is just beginning to enforce its rules on dumping of waste material into streams against agriculture. There was an article in the Seattle P-I this morning. The EPA has been too lax under Clinton but the problem will be much worse under Bush. By the way Frank, an article in the PI this morning says we spend $254,000 every 30 seconds on Defense and both Bush and Gore want to spend more.
