But you've proven over and over that we can count on you for sage counsel whenever the need arises.

Huzzah! Huzzah! Sir Lyre, you've certainly been my guiding spirit.

Thank you UF and to all the other members of the Round Table (Merlin, Sir Ares, Sir Galahad, Sir Thucydidies, Sir Dancelot, Sir Plutus, Sir Apollo and Sir Chartmeister).

I look forward to our continued quest together on this journey as we all contribute for the greater good of gorilla game investing.

Sir Lyre

By unanimous vote of the Round Table, we'd like to welcome you to our ranks.

Bruce- Congratulations on your promotion to the Round Table of this excellent thread. IMO, UF and thread have made an excellent choice.

I've mostly lurked this thread and some TMF threads since my first foray into stock picking in Feb '00 (nice timing, huh?)
To say I have learned some valuable lessons would be an understatement. But I am both excited and confident that my portfolio (CSCO, JDSU, SDLI, QCOM, GMST, WIND, AMAT, AHAA)is positioned for outstanding growth over my long term horizon of 5-10 years.
My special thanks to you Bruce for your calm and insightful posts during some volatile times. Your logical, level-headed approach has been most comforting to me when my nerves started feeling a little frayed. My sincerest thanks.

Thanks to all,
Jeff

Uncle Frank,

Most well spoken of Sir Lyre, in your inimitable prose. I am delighted to welcome him to the Table. Will Merlin be upset about "first dual citizenship" status on the Round Table, or have you merely explained how he can be so many places at once?

Thucydidies

Please join with me in welcoming Sir Lyre to the ranks of the G&K Round Table.

Are belated posts accepted with equal enthusiasm? I've been online for about six years and I've never come across anyone who so consistently and completely understands as many companies as Sir Lyre. Bruce, I'm thrilled to learn that you have accepted a role at the seat of the Round Table.
