wonder how long Hyundai will even be able to afford to pay their legal fees for the Rambus suit.

Bingo. I hinted at this earlier. What good a settlement do for RMBS if company goes bust.
1) RMBS would step up licenseing fees.
2)Samsung would make so much more as DRAM prices would soar that RMBS royalties would definitely increase. LOL
