If they are, the timing couldn't be better. Fund managers just finished their "post tax-loss selling" buy-ins. Most clowns loaded up on the last dip. Most bears, sensing that "Here we go again" feeling, puked up most of their poots and shorts. Hence, our buddy MaxPain would be the only one left to enjoy the party.....

i think it's definitely possible. this looks like a PERFECT C of 2 in the SPX...just about perky enough to draw all the clowns back in...
clearly the move looks corrective...and the Dow is struggling with ye olde trend-line.
of course there's the little problem of the cycle...of which it can't be said fer sure yet which way it points.

also, there's the unenjoyment party on Friday....

if Gore wants to win, he would tank the market on Monday afternoon and Tuesday to supress voter turnout...
