NDX could also be viewed as an H&S; right shoulders can form on rising wedges. FWIW, that would give us an even lower target, maybe 2500.

Also the fund managers will want good bonus checks for Christmas and that won't happen if they sit and preserve their client's money. They may very well have to start jumping in to the battered chips and fibers and add fuel to get those bonuses.

Your comment suggests that fund managers have cash waiting to move into the market. I've heard that from a couple of different sources, and I'm inclined to think it is true based on market action over the past couple of months, but I'd like to a have a source of information that would verify that conclusion. Does anyone have a good source of summary data on fund cash positions?
