Ted, I think you are making the assumption that Gore knew If he didn't, he was only 1 of 5 people who claim not to know. Hillary was the other, plus the 3 cabinet secretaries Clinton asked to march in front of the White House to say they believed Clinton. They were BTW Albright, Shalala and Daley (who is now Gore's campaign manager, or something like that). The site of those 3 people was one of the most pathetic moments of the entire Clinton administration. If Gore truly didn't know, it also tells you something about his ability to judge people. I don't know which is worse, but neither is good. Joe

And the truth is is that Clinton's biggest crime was his disception to his wife and Lewinsky....and its sad because he has a problem. < The lewinsky scandal doesn't even rank up in the top five as far as Bill's scandals goes. I would rate them , Chinese missile scandal, Taiwanese fundraising, Brown's political fund raising junkets,$10,000 a plate breakfast scam, Whitewater, Paula Jones, Lewinski, whitehouse bedrooms. I rate the first two as the most serious because they involve the president taking money from foreign powers in return for favors. The 3 4 and five scandals because they all involved the selling out of the presidency for money, both personal and campaign contributions; Paula Jones ahead of Lewinski, because Paula Jones besides being morally wrong also included illegal activity.
