Petz, Re: I'm willing to contribute $50 for JC's P4 system, but we've either got to get AMD to loan him a 1.2 GHz or better DDR system so he can do side-by-side. Great -- 30 people contributing $50 should be more than enough for a P4 CPU with i850 motherboard and two 64MB RIMMs. (the other components could be salvaged from JC's new "test bed") And concerning the "comparison system" from AMD, that should be the smallest problem IMO... EDIT - and he's got to try to BREAK IT! But only after Intel has shipped at least 100.000 CPUs -- we don't want another paper recall. <g> Andreas
