I am glad to have a something more than rant on the other end myself <g>....Anyway, I do not know why the attorney general appealed, nor, in fact, the details of the incident, and therefore would be at a loss for intelligent commentary......

<<You may be aware, that in a recent case, a lower court had thrown out the case in which the attorney had slept. When asked about the case, Bush said something to the effect of, the system works. The next day the attorney general's office appealed. I find Bush's comments and the actions of the attorney general to be in conflict. The attorney general is under the direct control of the Governor.

To me it says that Bush was made aware of a bad situation and acted on it quickly.
