Hi Chitral,

Well, let's take the computer business for example. It is, at this point, totally unregulated. There are problems with IP protection and there are a lot of cowboys out there stirring things up. Be that as it may, the FED has not seen fit to move into our territory like an 8000lb gorilla and destroy our business and it's dynamism with massive rules and regulations.

As I see it, we need to keep it that way. If there's a problem, our industry can work things out among ourselves. We don't need DC bureaucrats telling us how we're supposed to run our industry.

There's nothing (yet) to de-regulate here. We certainly don't have any diseases that need to be 'cured' by anyone from back East.

I trust Bush to leave things alone more than I trust Gore to do the same. Gore's populist rhetoric isn't making him any friends down here.
