Nice try!

You are the one making the mistakes here. I know it is embarrassing to have backed a loser with such vehemence but
Intel did not sign a deal with Rambus until 1996 for the development of RDRAM for the PC. RDRAM came out last year (1999) so it took 3 years from beginning to delivery. DDR for the PC is still not launched and is now 1 year later than RDRAM. AMD is getting a "blackeye" over its abortive 760 launch. <G> I guess those disclaimers on the press release were absolutely necessary. <G>

Assuming that they get the DDR problems solved by year end and actually launch the 760 it will have taken 1.25 years longer to engineer the DDR solution. Interesting, is not it?
