American Spirit: Solid analysis on the Electoral College projections. I had just checked the Zogby numbers, too, and you basically said what I intended to say. I think a best-case scenario would be for the race to be pretty close around 9 p.m. EST. That way more Democrats will vote in California, Washington and Oregon, thus assuring President Gore that he will be working with House Speaker Gephardt. Have a good time in Holland and save a few bottles of that good Dutch beer for the locals.
