I am not part of the problem. I am a Republican.

Is that the same G.W. Bush who said these? (Are you sure these are not recycled Dan Quayle quotes?)

...George W. Bush, Jr.

"Republicans understand the importance of bondage between a mother and child."

"Welcome to Mrs. Bush, and my fellow astronauts."
...Governor George W. Bush, Jr.

"Mars is essentially in the same orbit...Mars is somewhat the same distance from the Sun, which is very important. We have seen pictures where there are canals, we believe, and water. If there is water, that means there is oxygen. If oxygen, that means we can breathe.
...Governor George W. Bush, Jr., 8/11/94

"The Holocaust was an obscene period in our nation's history. I mean in this century's history. But we all lived in this century. I didn't live in this century."
...Governor George W. Bush, Jr., 9/15/95

"I believe we are on an irreversible trend toward more freedom and democracy - but that could change."
...Governor George W. Bush, Jr., 5/22/98

"One word sums up probably the responsibility of any Governor, and that one word is 'to be prepared'."
...Governor George W. Bush, Jr., 12/6/93

"Verbosity leads to unclear, inarticulate things."
...Governor George W. Bush, Jr., 11/30/96

"I have made good judgments in the past. I have made good judgments in the future."
...Governor George W. Bush, Jr.

"The future will be better tomorrow."
...Governor George W. Bush, Jr.

"We're going to have the best educated American people in the world."
...Governor George W. Bush, Jr., 9/21/97

"People that are really very weird can get into sensitive positions and have a tremendous impact on history."
...Governor George W. Bush, Jr.

"I stand by all the misstatements that I've made."
...Governor George W. Bush, Jr. to Sam Donaldson, 8/17/93

"We have a firm commitment to NATO, we are a part of NATO. We have a firm commitment to Europe. We are a part of Europe."
...Governor George W. Bush, Jr.

"Public speaking is very easy."
...Governor George W. Bush, Jr. to reporters in 10/99

"I am not part of the problem. I am a Republican."
...Governor George W. Bush, Jr.

"A low voter turnout is an indication of fewer people going to the polls."
...Governor George W. Bush, Jr.

"When I have been asked who caused the riots and the killing in LA my answer has been direct and simple: Who is to blame for the riots? The rioters are to blame. Who is to blame for the killings? The killers are to blame."

He has my vote. I do a lot of public speaking. When every word is scrutinized it's tough especially when it is played and replayed with all your friends and enemies scrutinizing every word, filler (umm), pause, look, expression, joke, etc. For such a liberal media outlet (i.e. - ABC, CBS, NBC, and CNN - 90% of journalist and media representatives vote Democrat according to one of the million polls out there) that exist in America today with its continuous biased liberal slant, any Republican that can win a Presidential election is brilliant! So if Bush gets elected he is brilliant, if not he is just an average self-made multi-millionaire with an MBA from Harvard.

Hoping for a brighter future without the embarrassment of a leader who fights for "the majority of America" - those who don't want guns in the hands of responsible private citizens, who take pride in participating in murder by making it legal for mothers to kill their babies, who fight for special rights for single adults of the same gender that enjoy having sex with each other in the form of "un"civil unions, who would rather create special laws for a portion of society such as hate crimes while hating when present laws that protect the whole of society are enforced especially if it means putting an offender to death, who would rather force people to hire someone based on the color of their skin rather than their qualifications, who want to increase the minimal wage for workers for their lack of qualifications and experience, who consider saving a whale or the egg of a bird as more noble than the preservation of human life. All at the expense of the now "minority" in America with no voice who pay the majority of their salary in the form of taxes...the married white male.

If every woman decided to kill their own baby growing inside of them and the rest of us decided to have sex with those of the same gender, and present laws were not enforced, in one generation most of the world will have died off and those who remained alive, the criminals, liars, and sexually perverted would continue to run the country.

Continuing to put my faith in God and not man.

Hi Tim,

Well, since all of those Dub'ya gaffs you quoted were before last summer, I suppose they are easy to forget...compared to the more recent spasm of Algorithmic prevarications, at this point, too numerous to hypothecate, let alone enumerate. Even so, I predict that the compassionate mispronunciator will top the regurgitating proliferating prevaricator come Tuesday.

OBTW, I got a call from fightin' Al this afternoon asking me to get the word out that he needs another day to campaign to dispel all the FUD building up. He has obtained Bill's permission for the polls to remain open through Wednesday, in order that he may cover more ground and bus in, I mean bring in more loyal democrats. Quite possibly, Bill may also honor internal combustion Al's request for the release of more petroleum reserve Wednesday morning, thereby saving all us Californios from two dollar gas before the polls close.

In honor of his request, the DNC has asked that all Democrats go to the polls on Wednesday, not Tuesday, so as to present a united front. Yes my cataleptic, democratic friends, vote early and vote often...
