if we are talking about your idea (belief, thought, value, prejudice etc.), then it is automatically assumed/judged to be the truth (a fact, God's honest truth, to be sincere, honorable, without malice etc.) ...

... but if we are talking about my idea (belief, thought, value, prejudice etc.), then it is automatically assumed/judged to be a lie (dishonest, sinister, devious, unprincipled, treasonous etc.) ...

Re: CFOs and industry trends - I don't know. Probably not more than their fellow executives within a company, but they *would be more sensitive to the macro picture; the price of tea in China and whatnot. Probably every CFO is a closet 'economist' so, it'd be a survey likely to get responses. (IMO) -JCJ
