John, "Other" business is forecast up 50%> Has "other" ever come close to this before?

2 of the slides in the webcast: one showed a bar chart of revenues for the wireless and network products. Looked like about +50% per year going back 3 years or so. They also used the 50% number at the stockholders meeting this year.

The other slide had the top 10 communication type chip companies. Intel was 4th after LU, MOT and TI. I didn't get the next 6. ADI, NSM, STM, Philips, LSI maybe? I think Intel has been climbing over some companies.

John,

re: "Has "other" ever come close to this before?"

OTHER

2Q00 to 3Q00 seq.- 1,541 million to 1,693 million
3Q99 to 3Q00 YOY- 1,060 million to 1,693 million
99YTD to 00YTD- 2,681 million to 4,575 million

Looks like 50%+ growth to me.

Don't ask about profits...

John
