Dealie, afterhours is deceptive...on qcom thread they're happy, on trading thread they're cooing over picking it up earlier today and selling into this "a hundred shares at a time" ah rally...and then shorting it already.

So who knows what the morrow will bring. I've still got my Jan calls. If NAZ goes in near future up so will the q.

Dealie - don't worry - you'll have plenty of time to get on the train. Q is stuck in between product cycles, still dependent on the manic moves of the Chinese and Korean gov'ts, and will give you plenty of opportunity to get on board. The analysts will see to that, trust me. (or not). If you want to get a sense of the analyst environment, check out the Q&A on the conference call -- compare and contrast to the upcoming CSCO call on Monday if you want to see what a difference there is in analyst relations and corporate transparency. While Q hedges and is non-committal (some of it justified), John Chambers' staff will move heaven and earth to answer questions with as much detail as possible. Just a style difference I guess. Sort of like comparing the oratorial skills of George W and Ronald Reagan. :0(
