Alan: What's "sickening" is that George W. Bush has not come clean with the American public on his past. You know, and I know, we ain't talking about traffic violations. He caught a free ride on these issues in the Texas governor's race because Ann Richards had her own problems. But if you're running for President of the United States, you got to come clean with the American people. If you don't, then you pay the consequences, i.e., Tom Eagleton in '72.

Alan,

I have heard the DNC say that the recent NAACP hate mongering ad was not put out by DNC but solely NAACP.

Well in a speech to a crowd, many of whom were African American, GORE said ""In the year of James Byrd, Gov. Bush would not sign hate crimes law?""

Now you tell me who is playing race cards out the wazoo??

Two men will be put to death and one will spend the rest of his life in jail, fairly effective if you ask me. A jury of their peers made it so. They did not need the NAACP to tell them anything.
