Yeah, sort of a cliff hanger thing. If I tell you now, you may drive up the price before I decide whether to buy or not.

OK, I'll tell you. I am impressed by VRTS. Not for the NAS stuff, but their backup software for MS Exchange 5.5 and 2000. Their volume mgt solution for W2K is also impressive. Also their W2K cluster management software is a must have. Their basic software is embedded in W2K. Then they sell upgrades to W2K customers that bolt right in to their basic code on W2K.

Very good capabilities, good sales/marketing force, in bed with MSFT.

I might add that I am excited, once again with MSFT's near term prospects. W2K has been in test environments for a few months now and big corporate deployments are beginning. W2K will be a winner, I am totally convinced. Their customers seem convinced that they have solved their reliability and availability problems nicely.

Thanks UF for pulling out the new stock from DS. A hint like that, given DS's track record, means we better get our DD efforts going.
New interest in new stocks. Does that mean the bear market is ending?

Is this the GG equivalent of the dance of the 7 veils?

Gawd, I hope not! All seven veils eventually came off and I don't know that we want to impose similar requirements of DownSouth.

P. S. I'll leave other comments for those on the Mudge thread!
