>>I worked these last 25 years as a child/school psychologist ...<< well, you have EARNED your keep. not an easy job, but a righteous way to earn a living. hopefully kids who were helped by your efforts keep in touch so you are in touch with the fruits of your labor. or is that labour? ;-) re: choosing your parents - i had a nice discussion on the amzn thread where a guy claimed parents meant very little. if you stayed positive and worked hard, you would do well. period. there was direct correlation between working hard and wealth (of course, he had wealth and EARNED it all HIMSELF - no good fortune involved ;-) he couldn't get the drift that working hard is an effect brought about, in part, by many causes that people don't directly control. we agreed to disagree. ;-)
