As would I. I am a firm believer that if this world were run by females, there would never have been a war. As to Mr. Greenspan, I agree he is a genius at balancing the economy. That having been said, even he was powerless to fight the enormous debt left us by the last republicans in the White House. As to the president being powerless to affect the economy, tell that to Mr. Reagan's supporters. A president can do much to control the economy by decide what bills to sign, and which to veto. Sign a budget bill with $800 billion to by $1000 hammers, and you can hose the economy in glowing technicolor. Mickey
