You're right. I bet this increases Bush's lead.

One thing about it Frank, if they can't come up with something more than that, they really should be desperate. And they are extremely desperate.

Al Gore can't even win his home state. He is the incumbent in good times. He is his own worst enemy. The majority of Americans do not like him. He's got to be bad if he can't ride the coattails of this economy into the office.

Face facts. He stinks and the public knows it. Therefore, they have to dig up anything. Even a misdemeanor from 24 years ago.

Frank,

I think the negative attacks are going to fail.
Most Americans seem to be suspicious of these
bizarre claims by Flynt, et al. Even this DUI
story is nothing. Bush got pulled over in Maine
on Labor Day weekend with a pro tennis play, his
girlfriend, and Mrs Bush. His blood alcohol was
0.10%, the minimum legal definition of DUI at
that time. He pled guilty, paid his dues, and
is done with that. In fact, he has stated publicly
that he drinks no more because it was harming his
life. He said that on Oprah. His numbers started
to surge after that show...it could be that his
honesty is what is going to win this election.
Al Gore, incedentally, has yet to admit that he
smoked a lot of pot, and opium, while a student
at Yale.
