I've been taking a good, long and hard look at wcom, as well as ericy and fon. Wcom's 10.5 trailing p/e looks good even with a lowered 15% growth rate. That's a peg of less than one, compared with the s&p's 1.8. The problem is, are they really going to exploit data and broadband over voice? If not, the competition will be fierce against the baby bells. If so, there is still fierce competition for the broadband space, but even so, if they just grow at 15% they should deserve a $20 or so price. Which means that in a bounce they might go to $25, a great opportunity at the current levels.
