Wonderful post.... and in it there is summed up the essence of Buddhism, and the teachings of Buddha.

One Martyred himself in the name of truth , and one who was
a prince and son of the wealthy King, chose to give up the riches and power, and live as a humble wandering monk to seek that same truth.

Be still and know God.

Thru long years of posessionless poverty , unlimited self deprivations , meditation on God like no other human being before....sacrifices so great and mastering passions till God and he were finally one.

But instead of dying or martyring himself 500 years before, one chose to live on and teach and enlighten others with that great revelation of Truth , that by following the Path would lead them back to God. Soon 1/2
the Earth would sense the wisdom in that one mans great revelation.

This till he was 73 years old and left this world still without possesions , yet full with the eternal simplicity purity, and freshness of the consciousness of God. The legacy he left form many of the beautitudes one finds in Christianity....yet to be born centuries later, yet already alive in Buddha himself. They are brothers, God is Eternal.

So when are you going to finally let the true light shine in
and accept that the teachings and beliefs of other peoples are so similarly divine ?

That God planted the seed of his being in all things since the first moments of creation.
For all to discover , if they be humble,
focussed, and steadfast
enough to seek him ?

In Buddha you have the Christ....and in Christ you have the Buddha.
Both taught the path and the way...
it is one and the same ...and Buddha did
not teach a way that was easy ,
but the way God intended, for the goal of life is to come to know God.
( Buddha was also Immaculately concieved , the story of the virgin birth , is not Christian by origin )

The sooner you can realize this , the sooner the greatest of misunderstandings that perpetuate ignorance and fear between the two great populations of humans , will finally cease .

And peace can finally reign, in the highest sense that God originally intended , when he added the first spark to Creation.

And peace of soul and mind and
body was ever the message?

The "Ten Commandments"
were ever written originally within our beings.
God is forever there waiting.

When you step onto that plane of understanding, that is
when you find the true promised land...or what Buddhist call "Harmony".
(that is why they will never find that Mountain or Moses.... they are Myth, but the commandments are real)

;-)

*When Jesus returns in some distant century or days to come ...don't be surprised to see him dressed in robes of Saffron.....but actually that event will take place within
the mind and hearts of man, and does everyday.
