Bender Growth Fund

CNN's Moneyline interviewed Reed Bender who runs the Bender Growth Fund. His holdings are almost 50% tech., then some retail, and 12% health care.

Big tech. holdings are Sawtek, Ntap, checkpoint, JDSU, Ciena, Broadvision, AOL, Qualcomm. Mentioned Ntap as the "pure play of Network Attached Storage." Defended Broadvision.

Interesting how he gets CDMA with his QCOM and Sawtek holdings and fiberoptics (JDSU and CIEN).

Oh yes, the water closet in Vegas problem. Amazed the guy is able to find an Internet cafe in various parts of the globe. That's probably more a telling sign of an addict than it is a sense of direction. He'd do okay finding his way out of most European "pissoirs". One door and your choice of wall you tinkle against. Kind of easy to find your way back out. The only trick is to keep your shoes dry.

Youse two guys,

are too much. And Merlin's not here to defend himself in his humorless way. I'll take up some of his tack by simply saying,

Frank, I didn't realize you could be so easily misled!

>>I won't even bring up the example of Merlin getting lost trying to find his way out of the mens room...<<

Very nice, pick on a guy when he's not here to defend himself (assuming, of course, he has an defense).

Mental notes: 1. don't let these people know when you will be away on vacation,
2. if you are ever going to meet these people, arrive a day early and scope out the bathrooms,
3. for purely defensive purposes, copy all those posts where Frank says not to trade, then copy his start and ending portfolios hehehe (gosh I'de love to see his margin loans - probably huge!!!)

oh, and in keeping with the FAQ (which incidently, Merlin, list the members of the Round Table) This Post Is A Joke!!!
