'Blanket of darkness and evil?' Gee whiz, Batman, forgive me but what's with the imaginative conjecture about what Gore or anyone else might have said under the same circumstances... the plain fact is that Bush was clearly deceptive and this puts his character and credibility on the line... even if Gore would have said the same thing, so what... two wrongs don't make a right... Bush is not to be trusted behind the steering wheel of this country.....

Yes, Bush did lie... when he was asked last year if he were ever arrested he said, "No, I was never arrested." Now we find out he was arrested... would that qualify as a lie? I think that would at least qualify as being fraudulent and dishonest with the person asking him the question, not to mention how his slick attempt at perpetuating a hoax is now being perceived by the American people..... as his very own father would say, that's baaaaad, baaaaad.....
