dsindakota, Wooley Bear Update, VBG. I was amused to hear on the radio a class report on their wooley bear collection. Teacher been doing this for 17 years and claims they are 75% accurate over that time frame. The 630 WB's they collected are calling for 50" of snow and a bruiser of a winter for the Baltimore area. This matches my more promising natural observations, though I really don't use the Wooley's much. My biggest note on them is that the last two years there were very very few around our area. This year they are nearly back to normal and tend to the dark side, FWIW.
