I just got this interesting private email...

Del ~ we knew each other when I was (omitted). I'm not comfortable, for many reasons, saying certain things publicly, but you might want to address them. Few, if any, people can drink heavily for 20 to 25 years with no effect on their brain. Some have a very dramatic lessening of mental capacity. Listening to and reading Bush's words make me wonder if he doesn't have some effects from his alcohol use. His lack of coherency, his vagueness, etc. are signs of late stage alcoholism. Those things don't clear up if it has gone too far. I'm just surprised, or maybe not, that this issue hasn't been addressed.

How about it? Do you have any questions for Al Gore about the opium laced marijuana he smokes or definitely smoked? Should he explain that to the American people?
