Hi, Uncle Frank,

While I agree with zello's passionate and vigorous defense of conservative views, I must take my hat off to you for capping the debate with a gentleness that all should emulate if we wish to truly influence others...jj

Hey Uncle, long time reader of your posts back from the Dell days. I have not told anyone what to invest in (unless they have asked, friends and family, and then I have only stated what I would do) and neither have I told anyone else how to conduct their lives (perhaps you ought to read my posts again). I have simply stated my own convictions. While I don't tell others how to conduct their lives I don't condone their behavior if it violates the laws of God (as found in the best selling book of all time), which may I remind everyone, the freedom to obey the laws of God, without being persecuted was the primary reason why this country was founded and why we read "In God We Trust" on our money and quote "under God" in our pledge among many other things. Of course, over the years God has become many things to many people the same way the constitution has been interpreted many ways by many people. I just present the truth for whatever it is worth to those who read it. Everyone has choices and everyone decides what behavior they feel is acceptable. But for every decision there is a consequence (whether good or bad). I will always defend the innocent and love those who are not so innocent because God, who I believe is very personal, loves me and my innocence went out the window a long time ago. Where in any of my post have I been vindictive (if it has been interpreted that way please forgive me as it was not intended to do so)? Any one who knows me, knows that I would give the shirt off of my back for someone less fortunate and in fact have dedicated my life to do so...from helping mistreated people in the prisons of Siberia, to those living in tents without running water and electricity in the outermost parts of Mongolia, to those addicted to drugs and alcohol in the heart of Moscow and St. Petersburg. Everyone has their own convictions and every one has there own God-given conscience they have to deal with.

My conscience is clear and my convictions are pure. From a foolish young boy who has had no life experience, has no world view, has no friends, a family who doesn't love him, and no tolerance for others. Wouldn't you love to believe that but sorry to say it is far from the truth and quite the contrary.

Zello
