Euro obviously rallying because of CB intervention and trader short covering.

I have argued that a dollar drop via this mechanism would not do much for gold. Only a sustained dollar bear induced by foreign capital exiting the US has a chance of breaking the strangehold of the "anti-gold" cartel.

So far this Euro rally has done very little for gold and nothing for gold stocks. JGOL down a bit this morning despite a $2 rise in bullion.
