I wrote my post on Sun when I saw that Sun was growing 72% in shipments (which was more than the other players), however, the report neglected to mention the fact that this growth was from old market share (other unix boxes), not new market growth (which is where Intel is strong).

And this is significant, because "new market growth" has always been the best predictor of the future.

So, I feel pretty confident Intel will win over Sun.
