Kennedy didn't wait till he was running for president to describe his indescretion. Bush didn't do that! He tried to hide it the arrest, fine and license suspension. Does anyone on this thread realistically think Bush wasn't trying to hide this from the American people? That the incident happened long ago is inconsequential. That he recently tried to hide it, in the midst of his campaign, is what's at issue. You wanna elect someone that's covering up so late in life? He was arrested and ordered to court in '76. He covered up in Year 2000!
