The "lowness" began when Bush decided to run his campaign on the following strategy:

a) Not admit specifics of his past life's mistakes.
b) Ignore the Republican platform and instead run on the typical Republican tax cut (it don't matter if the numbers don't fit!).
c) Steal Gore's issues, as with prescription drugs.
d) Refrain from direct questions from the main media for the two months leading into election day.
e) Paint and smear opponent Gore as a "liar."

That's your guy's strategy to win. In my view, it's Bush's strategy which is "low."

I am pretty certain that Algore can go much lower than I can imagine. He has already done that several times before. For instance, I thought he had the integrity to stand up against some of Clinton's bad behavior - no such luck.
