Probably because Bush respects the rule of law, admitted to his infraction, paid the fine, and learned from his mistake. In stark contrast, the effete Clinton/Gore don't subject themselves to such lowly things as the rule of law. They argue, "It depends upon what the meaning of, 'is,' is," and, "There is no controlling legal authority."
