That made me wonder also, having been a grocery stock boy once I turned 15 and the child labor laws didn't apply.

But Gore is the same joke in terms of pampered and isolated existence. As I said, my guy is out and I'm not real happy with what remains.

For me it was that whole Trading with the Enemy episode prior to and during WWII that launched the Bush/Walker modern fortune. Most banks functionaries had the good sense to stop trading with the Nazis prior to Dec. 1941...but not the Bush family. They continued to trade until Nov. 1942 when the assets were seized under the Trading with the Enemy Act and Executive Order.
